Good European headphone recabling service

Hi folks,

Personally I think the cable of my ATH-ESW10JPN's, which I love to death btw, is a bit flimsy and has a nasty tendency to twist and curl, despite me having tried to untwist them. It doesn't affect SQ in any way but I'm afraid that one day the cable may break and well...it just bugs me.

Now, I've been looking around a bit for companies that recable headphones and obviously stumbled upon the familiar ones like ALO Audio and more so APureSound. APS apparenly used to have a separate recabling service for portable headphones like the ESW10 but that has been discontinued (for reasons unknown to me). The only option there is to go for a full-size headphone recabling treatment but quite frankly I am not willing to pay at least $200 + shipping to the US just to have a sturdier cable. I'm not one to go all nuts about oxygen-free copper and high-grade silver and what not. I just want a sturdier and better quality cable on my ESW10's that at least offers the same SQ as the stock one.

Having said this, I was hoping some of you guys could help me finding a (preferably) European alternative (Dutch would be perfect!), which doesn't require me to dish out >200 bucks for a 4-foot cable.

I'll try again, anyone?

Sadly I do not know of any - regardless  if good or bad.

So definitely a market opportunity here if someone is willing to take it on. Something like APureSound for us Europeans. :)

Same problem, just one stage further... my cable broke yesterday :(

You can just send it to the Audio Technica importer if it breaks, repair for my ESW10 cable is about €40. That'll give you about 10 years of cable lifetime (original cable lasted me 2 years) for the price of a 'proper' recable.
