DIY Mini-RCA

(Mods: sorry for the double post, I didn't know how to move this from the cables area.)

I have a mini-RCA that I bought from Blue Jeans and am very happy with it. I would like to try and make my own similar cables in a longer lengths.

I'm good with the RCA and mini jack connectors, I just dont know which wire to use. Can someone recommend an "all in one" cable like the one that Blue Jeans Cables uses?

Thanks.

Thanks guys... I've been sorting through the DIY Cable Gallery trying to decipher what is "popular".

I've been a member here for a LONG time and just browse around from time to time. I have never visited the DIY section ever! I'm looking at these cable galleries and its like I've seen pr0|\| for the first time! My father bought me a nice Weller digital soldering station about 8yrs ago that never left its box. Now I have to find a place to buy all this stuff, and break out my soldering station, and clear my workbench of other projects... oh man... my Wife is gonna hate this....

Yes, but leave it connected only at the amp end. Or it's the other way round, but don't connect the shield to the ground post on both ends of the cable.
