Anyone can provide a step by step guide?
I'm kinda confused on what to do.

Sorry in advance for such an idiot question, yes I am an idiot but for RB on my clip+ i'm willing to be called a ****ing idiot.

Try here. Before you do anything else, go into the Settings>System Settings>USB menu and change it to MSC. Then follow the install instructions they provided. It's easy as long as you have the Clip+ in MSC mode. If you don't, it won't work. I found that out the hard way.

You've successfully installed the bootloader and Rockbox. It boots by default. For booting the OF press |<< very quickly or plug the cable in while it's off (plugging the cable doesn't work on Clipv2 and Clip+).
Doesn't work for me - I don't know if I've compiled it correctly.
Unplugged the usb yet it goes back to OF.
Can someone upload their patched file?

Edit - I really am an idiot, okay rename it "clppa", dump it into your root and unplug.
Edit 2 - i just bricked my clip+ lol, what do?

Mine did something similar. Scared the crap out of me. It wouldn't turn on, but it eventually did. Keep holding down the power button for a couple of minutes.

Yes. It can play games like Rockblox, and there's even a Pictureflow plugin too. Haven't tried out Pictureflow yet, but I don't think it'll work until they get it to write to the internal memory for the database. It'll be pretty cool to see how that works. It's really amazing how the Clip+ can do so much.

Im getting the playlist error too

And it seems the playlist function doesn't work very well? Can't seem to add a directory into the playlist or any files into the playlist properly. Keep getting the "error assessing playlist control file". Am i the only one getting this problem?

Anyway my player kinda "bricked" for 10 mins after fiddling with rb for a while. Couldn't get it to boot either way. Had me panicking for abit. But managed to somehow revive it through the OF boot after repeated tries.

Its now back to the original firmware and i think ill look out for more updates on how stable rb is on the clip+ before trying to install it again.

Did the Clip+ even have the pitch glitch? Even if it did, Rockbox should be able to correct it since it seemed to be a firmware issue.

That's probably because it's still read-only at this point. I think it's trying to write a playlist, so that's probably why you're getting the error. Probably the same reason why the database and saving your settings don't work.

Gee, might want to get a clip+ now for exercise. I hate my Fuze V2 - useless sorting, artwork, and overall a pain without gapless or AAC - I just want rockbox now, but I cannot programme, so I have to wait.
