IA64, you got a good sounding IEM that you enjoy and don't want to send back, that's good. But, I agree with you on the principle of the matter. It's pretty cynical of them to decide (without consultation with you) to change your order (if indeed they did that). At the very least, they should have included a $100 refund.
BTW, did you have to take a pill (per absent driver) to calm your temper?
No not yet, I'm still in the " what on earth is going on" mode... You don't get it... I have paid twice for the customs ( $340 - 15% Tax ) so far... it's out of question to send the unit back. So far I've invested almost $2000 ( $1419 + $50 audiologist charge + $40 shipping of earmolds + $172 tax when I got the IEM + $55 shipping back + $172 tax again ) on my phones.
Sending it back is gonna take another $225 - $250... paying was not an issue but I'm not printing money you know.
