Loud pop sound when I turn on and off DA-10

I'm hearing this loud electrical pop in my headphones when ever I turn on or off the DA-10. I always turn the volume to 0 before I turn it off or on. Everything sounds normal though, I have no problems with the sound at all, its just the pop. Is this normal?

Also, the back says 90-264 VAC does that mean the DA-10 can be plugged anywhere in the world, without any problems and without having to adjust anything?

It sound like a Normal way.
I think it's a direct on/off power without something like a cap to have a more direct circuit.
Some other amp have the same "trouble".
the solution is to plug the headphone after turn on and unplug before turn off.

It's normal, mine did the same thing and I gathered it was just the way the thing was designed.
