Selling my beloved Stello CDA 320.

Main Features:
- have three digital inputs (1 coax, 2 toslink)
- supports balanced output (full balance design)
- class a output stage
- selectable upsampling modes

From Soundstage Review:

But (and this is a big "but") the crazy thing is, I cannot fault the performance of this CD player in the slightest. It's that good -- that satisfying musically. The CDA320 is an equal opportunity conveyor of music. Yes, the tweaking part is an initial letdown because you expect it to transform the sound, and you feel as if part of the hard-earned two grand paid for this CD player has been wasted. However, as you get familiar with its performance, you'll be grateful that the sonic character of the CDA320 remains a constant. Connect it with your XLR cables if you can, with your RCAs if you can't, set it to Bypass, and enjoy.

The unit is in a great condition...
except that it sometimes does not respond on CD insertion. (<5% probability)
If the problem occurs, you need to manually reset the machine
using the switch on the backpanel.
Of course, there is no problem if you use this unit as a DAC.
My price reflects the problem.

Personally, I have compared this unit as a DAC against Stello DA100 Sig,
and couldn't say which is better.
Do your math with the accompanied high-quality transport :-)

MSRP: $1995

Can you please further describe the fault?

You insert a CD and nothing happens?

How old is the unit?

Sometimes after a cd is inserted, the unit does not respond at all.
It is not that the unit is picky on the type of CD.
Rather, the unit randomly goes into a strange state.

Still, it is not a big deal.
You can simply turn off / on the switch on the back.
Also, the problem happens only when you insert a CD.
(No problem when you use it as a DAC.)

I do not exactly know how old the unit is (I am second owner),
but I guess it is around 3 years old.
