FS: Sony MDR-7506 Studio Monitor Headphones

For sale is on pair of Sony MDR-7506 / MDR7506 Studio Monitor Headphones with the 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and original case. I am the first an only owner of these headphones and bought them from Sam Ash about two years ago. The have sat in my home smoke-free studio and always cared for (only used occasionally for tracking).

I'm interested. How balanced is the 7506? I'm thinking of losing the V6 and I'm looking for more balance yet with pretty much the same bass regarding definition and extension.

How is the positioning of the instruments to your ears?

This is hard to answer as I have not done a lot of critical comparison with these. I find the Sony's to have a good sound stage for a closed back semi-portable headphone and to be very balanced. I mostly used these for editing and tracking - I find them to be great for that. Good detail, sense of level/space, if something is off/bad they let you know. There is a reason these headphones are in almost every studio.
