Most Comfortable High End IEM?

Looking for something in the range and quality of the IE8. I've finally put up with the IE8; it doesn't have the right seal when I wear it with the wire over the ear and it's very uncomfortable upside down. I've tried many tips like Comply, modded Shure olives, Sony Hybrids, and all the silicone ones that came with the IE8 with no luck. I don't dig Monster Turbine design too much either, it's kind of big and heavy on the ear. Something small like the NuForce 7 with a cleaner and more crisp sound. Any suggestions besides the Klipsch X10? I've read the the X10 doesn't sound too great for $350.

Anyway, ~$300. No customs please. Thanks ahead of time.

ive actually considered it, but given the rarity of them, i would have to import them from japan to try them out. and if they dont really work for me, i would take a pretty big loss. and i read that the length wont fit everyones ear canal perfectly?

ALO Audio sells them. I'm not sure about their return policy, but ALO is a US retailer.

Comfort, no doubt anything Westone. UM3X or W3, your choice.

Yes, definitely Westone.

I really don't think comfort is a strong suit of the Ortofons, certainly not for everyone. The MDR-EX700LP are not comfortable at all, last I tried them. Those things are huge.

My vote goes to the ATH-CK10.

x2 on the ortofons not being the most comfortable. they are just fine on me but i can see others having issues with them.

the ck10 is very comfortable if you are using a single flange tip like a sony hybrid then it would be amazing. if using a triple like i am not as comfortable.

Klipsch does make very comfortable earphone, though.

Maybe look into the X5?

I find the SE530 to be supremely comfortable, although neither small nor crisp.

I concur! Westone iems are so comfortable, you don't noticed that you're wearing them.

Wouldn't the music be a hint?
