Sold! Mint..Black Meridian G 08 CDP. Price drop.

I bought this unit from TTVJ. maybe 5 years ago,(wow how time fly's). I have all the original boxes, manual,remote. (FYI the remote is extra on the $16,000.00 808.2I) I am selling because I moved up to the Meridian 808.2i.

I am single no pets non smoker, I treat it like a princess! I have taken it to a meet 2 times both times I packaged it like it was going to be shipped to the other side of the world!! Audiogon scale 9/10 I have some pictures here from a meet in DC. no good pictures in my computer. I may try my phone (Android does seem to take good photos.)

I would like $2000.00($1900.00 here on head-fi $2000.00 over on Audiogon) to me, (you pay shipping and any fees related to money transfer.)

I thought I might add. I think the Meridian G 08 is quite under rated, Ray Samuels,Headroom,Singlepower (I know who cares) all use a Meridian G 08 CDP at headphone meets. Plus when the NY crew all got together for the big Electrostatic review they used a G 08 as a source, for this price.. I have never heard anything that can touch this CD player! The next step up is $15,000.00 Meridian 808.2 and I am hearing an improvement, but not $13,000.00 worth. ((I must be crazy,,))

Welcome to the club... I too had an G08, it survived many other CDs and DACs, and now I got a 808.2i
And, yes, this G08 is a GREATLY underrated CD player.
I will probably sell mine but now is serving good in the secondary (basement) system.

Next I am going to order a Balancing Act!!! So I need to sell what ever I don't need. The Singlepower Extreme has served me well, It's next to go. But I believe A Balancing act is a long wait, so I am going to enjoy it until the end!!!
