Some companies offer insurance for personal items, mainly focussed on wedding rings, etc, that are with you constantly. They're normally relatively expensive but you can generally negotiate the costs down if it's partnered with a larger insurance commitment such as your House Insurance.

You just need to remember to update the Insurance document whenever you update the gear you're carrying regularly around with you!

Hmm. I'm not married yet but I wonder why someone would need insurance on a wedding ring? I mean how many times do you take it off? Not being rhetorical, but actually to you guys/girls that are married, how many times do you take it off?

It's more about if it gets taken off you (i.e. stolen, just like your IE8s could be ). In terms of wedding rings I find it useful as it has ensured I have well documented images of said uniquely designed rings should the worst ever happen - so I'd have the funding, a recent jeweller's valuation of value/worth including detailed specs, plus detailed images of the design, to try and replace the rings if those unfortunate circumstances ever arose (which I pray they never do).

Ah alright, thanks for clearing that up for me

Oh and this feels like a stupid question, but do people ever... re-buy wedding rings? Like a nicer one; say if you "moved up" in life and made a better salary? Haha this feels really dumb asking but I never really knew. Thanks in advance

>_> Sorry for going off topic (kinda) lol

I think my mom blinged hers out when my dad wasn't looking.
