Need a recommendation for some IEMs

Hello everyone,

I've been looking around at some decent IEMs as my second pair of cheap ones failed on me, allthough they were cheap they add up in cost here in Belgium when you pick them up from some generic warehouse.
I currently own an ipod video 30gig (5G I think :S) and an Ipod Touch 2G. The first one I use for my FLAC files while the second is meant more for commuting. I use both with my newly built MINI³ (and plan to purchase parts for an LOD).

While I'm still a student, I managed to bury my wallet into the DIY area alot lately . Allthough the urge has risen to get me some good IEMs as I have atm nothing but a sennheiser, which I obviously can't carry around much. And when coming from (even those cheap) IEMs, I'm not that fond of my ipod ears...

I've read up a little but don't know where to start when it comes to IEMs. So I'm generally looking for any obvious recommendations of IEMs, or (links to) info about it.

I don't really want to stick a budget to it, but I definately don't want to overreact when it comes to them. When I hear that that one excellent pair costs 10dollars more, then the budget can change ofcourse . Still we could maybe start around the 60euro pricetag and see from there.

Any help is welcome
Dries

If your looking for expert advice on IEM's/Headphones, you need to post in the correct section of the forum. Now, your not new here, so I'd expect you to know where to look, but here's the link just the same: Portable Headphones, Earphones and In-Ear Monitors - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio

Happy shopping my friend, enjoy.

, I'm sorry for this. I thought all the links to the forums where in the top box when you are on the homepage, I even doublechecked if there wasn't anything more relative to post this isn, but I didn't find a better section there. I'm sorry, I've just been used to using the homepage.

Thanks for pointing me out though

Any time, and I know you'll get excellent recommendations from the great members of Head-Fi. I'd assist, but my knowledge is quite limited.

Thanks for that last link James, I came across it before but didn't find it again when I was looking for it.
I'll be googling many of those before posting the same thread over there.

Thanks for the help,
I think this earns a lock
