sennheiser HD 280 silver

im wondering if the sennheiser HD 280s have a good bass response?
right now i have the sony mdr-nc6 noise cancelling headphones but they are cutting it for what im looking for in bass repsonse

If you want bass, then go for Ath-M50.

I have the HD280 (black, just colour variation), and I doubt you will appreciate them if you want bass. The bass quantity is lower than average, though it is very tight and fast.

The HD280 pros will not wow you with their bass quantity, their strong point is isolation.

I agree with iamthecheese. Im listing to them right now. The bass is nothing spectacular. But the isolation is nice. I walk along a major road with a 45 mph speed limit and you cant hear most of the outside noise. But if you want them for home listening then they aren't right for you
