*SOLD*
Up for sale is a nifty one of a kind Buffalo 24 DAC with Twisted Pear modules superbly crafted by Rock Hopper Audio.

I am at least the second owner, possibly the third. As they have redone their website, the original postings are gone but here is the post from the FS forum on Head Fi. There are some nicks in a few places on the wood housing but nothing terribly glaring in my opinion. As you can see from the pictures, it is basically a very cool looking, unique piece of hi-fi kit.
Here is the info:
Twisted Pear Modules used throughout
Buffalo DAC modules utilizes the Stereo ESS ES9008 Sabre Reference Audio DAC
IVY output stage (I/V stage); puts out both single-ended and balanced signals
Twisted Pear TOSLINK module using a Toshiba TORX 142LF module
Twisted Pear USB module (Texas Instruments PCM2707 USB DAC)
Voltage can be configured by user for 100-120 or 200-240 V AC.
It was advertised new about a year ago from Rock Hopper Audio for $1500. I paid $1200 plus shipping second hand about six months ago. I am looking to get that back if possible but will welcome reasonable offers. I am willing to make a trade for a pair of Edition 8s but not sure if there is anything else of interest for me.
Please send PMs with questions or comments.
Thanks for you interest!
