Hi all;

My imod died (no fault of RWA-I screwed up replacing the battery). I used it with the headroom desktop portable amp.

I'm not sure what the best route for a replacement would be. A new imod, or would I be better with an old PCDP and use the DAC in the amp?

I have nothing to base this on, but surely the DAC in the headroom portable woud be better than the DAC in an ipod? Or am I missing the point?

Any suggestions appreciated.
