I have the portapros and the senn 201's, and the portapros are better in pretty much every way. in my humble opinion....

The folding nature and sliding metal headband of the porta pro makes them unsuitable for a 6 year old. Go for the ksc 75. They sound great for the money, and since they are so cheap, you won't sweat it when eventually your kid steps on them, pokes a pen into them, etc etc. Lifetime warranty is great, or if you need new ones right away, buying a new pair will be affordable.

if the child is fairly carefull the senn PX100 would fit on a 6 year old I believe and sound wonderfull or go ksc 75
