I bought some Shure 240's today and FOR THE PRICE sound amazing. I paid about $35 for them new at a local big box store (starts with a B). I have the Koss Porta Pro and KSC 35's and these actually sound better to me.
They're $60 retail, but you can find them cheaper online. When I look at them I can't believe how good they look for the price.
I listen to Japanese pop and they sound really good for that type of music. I liked them so much that I upgraded to the Shure 840.
Thanks. Does anyone know if any of these would fit better on smaller heads? They are for a 6 year old. We originally got her "kids" headphones (the Sony ones), but they still cost $15, and are pretty crappy, and I think reduce the volume to the point where it's hard to hear anything.
