Bithead question

Should there be a difference in sound quality between using USB power vs Battery power? Is one preferred over the other? Seems like battery would provide more power (5v USB vs 6v battery)

I've tried switching between the 2 but cant tell... not sure if thats because its not broken it yet, etc...

Theoretically it's better on batteries, but I can't tell the difference unless you've got a very high impedance headphone being played loud, then you can sometimes tell that it runs out of headroom on USB.

This new little Bithead I received 2 weeks ago keeps getting better everyday! I don't want to sound like a fanboy... but damn! I think I like it better than my Microamp!!
