unlikely - drying is usually suggested to prevent "popcorning" when reflowed - rapid ramp to solder temp can flash absorbed mositure to steam - we had that problem at work with epoxy coated Panasonic film caps when our fab house changed to higher temp lead free soldering

typically not a probelm for hand soldering


moisture in flux residue could cause leakage currents - wash with isopropyl alcohol, detergent and final deionized water rinse, scubbing with an old toothbrush may help get between leads

Thanks for that - good to know !

I've left the amp on again for about 8 hours and the offset is 9mV on one channel and 19mV on the other. Not great but also not a serious problem. A better PCB layout might help to reduce this.
