Up for sale is a 1st generation Eddie Current ECSS amp. This amp absolutely sings with Grado cans. I simply have too much gear and need to part with this amp. I purchased this amp from Dash late in 2008 and have enjoyed it immensely when paired with various Grados, K702's and Ultrasone Pro2500 headphones. One thing to note is that when changing volume on this amp, a mild static sound is heard - this stops as soon as you stop changing the volume, otherwise the amp is dead silent. Dash emailed Craig from Eddie Current regarding the static when changing volume and Craig confirmed that this was not a problem and was due to voltage differences in the opamps and not a bad potentiometer. Just wanted to disclose that upfront, but it has never been a problem for me. I would rate this amp as a 7/10 on the audiogon scale simply for the mark on the right edge of the amp as seen in the first picture. For right now, this amp is for sale to folks in the US only.
