"I'm the original owner and I bought it directly from John Tucker.
I've used this as my main source for years and have loved it the whole time.
I got many tubes to play with, but never really messed with it once I put in the amperex tubes that are in it now. I'll include a whole bunch of tubes in the sale.
The only reason I'm selling it is to fund my new music server (also of John Tucker design)
Also, if you're planning on using this to watch DVDs, it's the last one Denon manufactured w/o a dvi port so it uses the MUCH nicer Silicon Image/DVDO PureProgressive (SiI504) Decoding Engine.
The newer models (including the 3910) used the Faroudja FLI-2300.
The picture quality is unbeatable for DVDs.
Note: this has the optional siltech wiring upgrade. I don't remember how much I paid for this."
