Sold: Burson Audio HA-160 (Aus)

Purchased as a demo unit, I've had this amp for about a month. While it is an exceptional amp, I feel it comes up just a little short in powering my 600ohm T1 to full potential. Hence the sale.

The condition is excellent. There may be one or two hairline scratches, but that's about it. There's also a small mark on the volume knob which can be seen in the picture below. The Burson is a very handsome unit, extremely sturdy, and runs quite cool (only mildly warm after hours of use).

I'd hope to sell it for (sold) plus postage. I'll cop any paypal fees. Direct deposit available too.

Australian buyers only (at present). COD pickup from Melbourne CBD welcome.

Pics to come.

Sorry, just to clarify, did you buy it to demo, or was it an ex-demo version you bought? What sort of volume control does it have? thanks

This amp has a stepped attenuator so no channel imbalance at low volumes

It was an ex-demo model that I purchased. Yep, stepped volume.

I was asking about the pot as the earlier produciton versions of these had an Alps pot, and there were a couple of other issues with them. Once the stepped attenuator came in the other minor issues I understand were solved.

However, sod's law, I am going away tomorow until after Easter. Will be tempted if this is still around when I get back
