Based on a recent thread, I ended up getting a Sandisk C150 player at The Source instead of the C250 that was advertized.
Having had the player for just under two weeks and set the headphone volume to max, I am TRULY IMPRESSED with the SQ of thi little player.
In a thread I wrote about batteries, yes I did try different batteries and have come to the conclusion that the Energizer Titanium batteries sound absolutely fantastic in this player.
Listening to some reference material through my PAV2 I was really surprized at how articulate and detailed the player sounds, ESPECIALLY with the titanium battery.
As I may have mentioned, being a vetran audiophile of 30 years, am now translating what I know into portable gear.
I'm hoping to upgrade to a C250 clip as I see a ton of those on e-bay cheap, headphones are also being upgraded to a pair of Shure ME240's.
What can I expect in SQ of the C250 Clip as opposed to what I have now. For the most part I am sold on Sansa as they have a well built, AFFORDABLE, GOOD SOUNDING player with the innovative idea of swappable SD cards.
