Up for sale is my pair of Denon D5000 headphones modified with Lawton Audio's Australian Sheoak cups with damping applied to the inside of the cup, as well as JMoney leather ear pads. They will also be shipped with the stock D5000 cups and ear pads, both of which are in as new condition (ear pads have never touched my head, cups were used 4 days), and outside of the damping that markl applied to the inside of the LA cups these cans have not been altered in any way and can be restored to stock form.
I purchased the headphone in mid-December, at the same time as the J$ pads. The cups were purchased a few weeks later, shortly before the headphones arrived. They have a little over 150 hours on them at this point. The stock headphones are in flawless condition, and the J$ pads are in great condition they have just been worn on my head (no defects of any kind were caused by this).
The Lawton Audio cups are in fantastic condition with one exception. While one cup has no flaws whatsoever, the other has a very small, almost circular white mark on it from when I accidentally knocked the plug against the cup while carrying them. It's diameter is about 1/4 of the diameter of a penny, at most. It disappears when any bright light is shined on the wood near or on it, so unfortunately I could not get a photo of it.
I am asking $600 USD for them shipping included within NA. Outside of North America you will have to pay the shipping. I realize that this price may seem a bit high but this is how I broke it down.
Stock D5000 *as new condition*: $425 (going price on here for heavily used ones on their second or third owner is usually just under or just over $400)
Lawton Audio Sheoak cups: $150
JMoney Pads: $25
