Hi

My second hobby after head-fi is collecting sporting memorabilia. I posted a pic of my listening room awhile back and saw someone had a nice signed Elvis picture hung up. So i thought id start a thread and see what other cool memorabilia other head-fiers owned.

** This thread is useless without pics :-) **

Here's mine

Great collection I love the Cantona pic, All the Man U stuff is great.

My mate has the same helmet. He also has loads of other GP memorabilia it drives his wife crazy. I'm talking bits of wings, wheel nuts etc he has a room full of it.

HI Guys
@Ynoskire, I went to a race day where there was a chance of meeting Lewis, I bought the helmet especially for that day and it was my mission to get it signed. I detached the visor and set off. It was a German Touring Car event and Lewis was doing a signing session and a few laps of the track at Dodington. I camped outside the Mercedes motor home all day, saw zero racing and Lewis kept popping in and out of different doors all afternoon so i kept missing him. We thought he'd left for the day, so i was walking back to the car when my girlfriend saw a few people waiting by the RAC office next to the circuit entrance. I was so livid, i just wanted to go back to the car but my girlfriend insisted we checked it out. Good job we did, out walked Lewis, there could have only been 20 people there so i managed to meet him. Unfortunately he couldn't sign the visor (he said contractually McLaren won't let him because they sell signed helmets for 4k) I didn't have anything else with me, so went to walk away when he offered to sign my Jacket which I've now framed (Wasn't the cheapest Jacket in the world lol but I'm really happy he signed it.)

Here's some pics

My poor girlfriend (under the umbrella) who didn't moan once all day

@omegaman
I'd love to see some pics of your friends collection, the room must be pretty big!. I want to get an F1 wheel and tire one day, they're huge though. Need to wait till i've bought my own place because they're serious money and my girlfriend would hit the roof.
Cantona is my favourite player of all time. He wasn't the perfect player but he was an artist on the pitch. I love the pose on the photo i have. Popped collar, number seven with the captains armband. Just how i remember him on the pitch.

Its Peter Schmeichel, considered by many neutrals to be the best keeper ever.
