Hey, all....July is just around a couple of corners....Don't miss this meet.  I will  be bringing a bunch of balanced phones to play with.   (HE-5LE, K340, K501, Yuins) Also a couple of new amps:  Virtue One, Scherzo Andante, RSA Protector.

I am sure that Miguel will also bring his usual truckload of great goodies!   I am bribing him with cookies!.

The facility is outstanding, as will be the food.  All for only $15!

Hope to see lots of FL Head-Fi'ers as well as friends and guests there!

Ron

Ron a truckload is about right. Recently I acquired a 1977-79 vintage Marantz 2238B receiver (38 wpc) which I am using to drive a soon to arrive Stax SRD7 modded by spritzer and a Lambda PRO also from spritzer. The 2238B has two sets of speaker outputs and I will be testing how well (or poorly) it would drive an AKG K1000. If all goes well this combo will become my office rig, the source being a Wadia 170i and an external DAC (HLLY DMK-IV for now but waiting for their latest unit).

I am undecided if for a second rig I should bring a RWA Isabellina HPA and RWA Signature 30.2 Power Amp or a Monarchy DIP Combo (re-cloaking with up-sampler) with a Monarchy NM24 DAC driving a Singlepower MPX3 Slam. I am inclined to bring the RWA gear since it is available and it sounds so good.

For headphones ... well lets say the "truck" will be full!  I forgot all about the portable amps. Ouch!

I should have a Lambda PRO w/ an SRD7 energizer modded by spritzer which I plan on bringing. Power will be provided by vintage Marantz 2238B receiver.

HiFlight,

I live in St Augustine...I would love to attend. I have a ton of stuff I could bring. My profile lists everything...let me know. I actually paid a modest fee a few years ago to attend a mini meet here in Florida and could not make it at the last second. It would be great to meet everyone.

I hope you can make it vixr it should be a lot of fun. Cheers.

Had a great time at the Orlando meet, so I'm pretty stocked about this one. Now that I have a D4 Mamba I'd like to pick Ron's brain about playing with the sound.

Awesome. This will be my first meet! I am in. I unfortunately just sold off most of my gear so I can start square one with a new rig. I still have an m902.

I know some zu druids showed up to one of these SoFla meets not too long ago. I am very interested in hearing a pair. I was curious if that is on the agenda?

Sam, don't worry if you do not have any gear to bring. As far as vendors are concerned I do not believe that HiFlight has pursued that option, although it is best if he answers to make sure I do not provide incorrect information. Cheers and  hope to see you at the meet on July 24.

It is going to be a great meet!   I look forward to meeting you.  There is plenty of room for anything that you would like to bring.  Also no shortage of A/C outlets.

Sorry, no vendors are anticipated.  Just lots of really nice equipment to listen to.  I will have a pretty good assortment of balanced phones and amps.
