Meier Corda Opera amp/preamp in excellent condition. Works flawlessly, looks near perfect- only minor scratches here and there, nothing noticeable except upon close examination. Asking $600 obo + shipping (flat rate $10 in CONUS), I'll eat PP fees.

Will also consider any/all reasonable trades, esp, for a decent DAC.

Note that color is off in the pics- it's silver, not gold, as cool as that would be. The shot from the top down best represents the actual color.

The other stuff in the Flickr album's for sale, too. (Little Dot MK IV SE + tubes; Testament 2.0 1m RCA interconnects; Markl'd D5000's w/Moon Audio Black Dragon recable/furutech 1/4" terminated, all in great to mint condition.) I'll be posting these in the next few days, but if anyone sees something they *have* to have now, feel free to PM an offer. I anticipate listing prices to be $140 for the cables, $650 for the cans, ??? for the LD + tubes (I don't remember how much the tubes were or how much a stock LD Mk IV SE is, make an offer if interested). This is NOT the "REAL" listing for these items; that's a-comin' once I figure out how to list things better. I just figured since people might be browsing through, they might as well know that the stuff's available.

Tim- Thanks! Do I owe you a commission when it sells?

Not to jack my own thread, but the best I could do is what's above in the OP. How did you get the pics there? Sorry to be such a noob (a new favorite phrase adopted from my 16 year old stepson, describes me perfectly when it comes to this stuff) . If preferred, I'd be happy to get directions in a PM.

Before I get flamed, I did check the help section of head fi, which made thing worse, not better.

By the way, anyone want to buy an amplifier?

Taking offers or interesting trades (especially for a decent DAC). Don't be shy. Get some o' dat sweet sweet Jan Meier magic with crossfeed, active ground, d-e-e-p bass, smooth mids, and sparkling highs- in my opinion, one of the best SS amps out there for <$1500. I've heard the Corda Symphony, and can say that it was hard to hear major differences between that and the Opera. This speaks well of the Opera, not poorly of the Symphony. Search for Skylab's thorough review of the Opera- he was as complimentary as could be. Also check out his round-up of 22 SS amps (I think tgat was what the thread was called) - the Opera topped many amps with much higher price tags.

UPDATE:

Opera: Pending

D5000's: some interest here, might end up going to trade for work done by my tech, would rather sell them and pay for work (these cans are too unique not to go to someone who'll be blown away by them. The tech will probably listen to them for a week, and then turn around and try to sell them to one of his other customers. Nothing wrong with that, but then he gets the Karma points for turning someone on to these amazing phones)

LD Mk IV SE: Some interest, nothing confirmed yet

Virtual Dynamics cables: Come on, these are killer crazy super high quality RCA interconnects that I'll sell for a song (not literally, actually, $140 would do it. Firm price, I think.)
