Headphone Cable, Hidden or On Show

May seem like a strange question, and couldn't find a more fitting section of the forum to post it in.

I always wear my Headphones than put the cable inside my jacket to my DAP in my jacket or trouser pocket, so the cable isn't on show and free to dangle.

However recently, for some reason i've found my self checking what others do and the vast majority have the cable on the outside.

I know this is just personal preference, but what do you do?

Hide it... If its hanging, it tends to get caught on stuff and could break something.

Yeah i hide mine as well, dont want to pull on my poor ears, since i wear customs, or hurt the TWag cable, that thing was expensive

When I'm sitting in one spot for long periods of time I tend to run my cable down the outside of my shirt. However if I'm on the move and I often am I run it down inside my shirt, with my iems when not in use I simply hang them around my neck and yet again in under my shirt.
Being at school having iems handy at any turn and being able to put them away in an instant is rather nifty if I do say so myself.

Hmm I should do that during school... for a quick fix during class haha. But yea I mostly just wear them outside of my shirt but I could switch for a day and see how it is.

I actually do what you do, I put the iem cable inside my jacket pocket with my DAP, but when I go for a jog I would put the cable under my shirt to avoid the cables from getting caught. When I'm not using them I put the cable around my neck or place them back into their case.

While being active (ala' the gym) I try to hide or secure the cable. While stationary, I just let it be, as I'm not as prone to yank my headphones off my head.

It all depends on the activity level I guess.
