FS : Lavry DA10 DAC SOLD

For sale is my Lavry DA10 dac that I bought late 2007. In excellent condition. I want to move up in the dac world...
Will ship in original Lavry Engineering box and packing material. Will include the stock XLR to RCA connectors.

Conus $ sold ,

International will need to add to shipping/paypal fees. Need excellent feedback.





The specks are just dust....

Excellent piece of equipment, the Lavry DA10.
Definitely worth the $$$ when considering that it does as good of a job as the DA11 (1480 $) when it comes to what it's been designed for: DAP'ing.
Even with my LD MKV I find it excellent - I can't wait to try it out with the WA6SE maxxed.
One just can't go wrong with this piece of engineering.

PS: What do you plan to upgrade to from the DA10? I've been asking myself the same question latelty and I just couldn't find a worthy upgrade in the 2000-3000 $ margin. I've been considering trying tube DACs...

Quite versatile is the PWD but it's versitality might also be it's weakness when it comes to headphone listening. I rationalize this on the concept that, in most cases, it's really hard to be very good at many things at once...

Personally, I decided that rather than upgrading the DA10, which sounds soooo fine, to try a Havana DAC - I just can't help myself trying a good tube dac
I hope to be able to catch all that instrument and voice naturalness and goodness that it's quite appreciated for...


And one more thing: if someone wants a DAC in oreder to use with a computer, the DA10 with HiFace make a pair made in heaven. The HiFace is really that good - the EMU0404 was blown out of the water by it (as a coax transport).

Where is the love? (for the DA10)

At least can someone say why they wouldn't buy the DA10?

Is there a better deal out there that I'm not aware of?
(Hope nobody says DA11, because the only thing the Da11 has that I wish the Da10 had, is the remote control... USB connection =useless, if you get the HiFace; PIC got serveral not-so-good reviews etc.)

Right no discussion.

But that deal is done and I don't see too many more out there at that price. Last month a LavryDA10 sold at A gon for $850,.so......
