Meier STAGEDAC or Music Hall dac 25.2?

I am looking to get a new DAC in the sub $750 range to complete my second rig. I currently have a MHDT Constantine USB+ that I have been pleased with.

I recently added a second amp, a WA6SE in addition to my Darkvoice 337 to create a second rig. Phones in use are Beyer DT990/600's and Darth V3's.

Typical music is very varied, from indie rock, folk to electronica.

Any suggestions between the two DACs? Both the STAGEDAC and Music Hall have good reviews and they will only be used for headphones. I like the tube output stage of the Music Hall (tubes rock!) but the STAGEDAC offers more features with variable output if i ever got powered monitors.

Sources used is 100% computer audio, loss less and fed either via USB, coaxial or optical.

Thoughts purely based on sound quality and characteristics?

Went with the stagedac. Had a few more features and better reviews. Plus Jan Meier is always great to deal with.

I'm considering the same 2 DACs as well as the DACMagic ..... any comments?

It may be worth noting that Music Hall has updated their DAC to the 25.3. The upgrade was to the USB input which now accepts 24bit/96kHz signals.
