Looking to see if there's any interest in this fine Blue Circle SBH Headphone Amp. It's a rare bird that doesn't seem to pop up or have much buzz here at Head-Fi, but it's certainly been an amp that I've enjoyed for about a year and a half or so. I bought this amp from Jodet a while back in September 2008.

Skylab has a fine write up about it. SoundStage! also reviewed it as well. While not having the fine review writing skills as Skylab, I'd agree that in my search for a sweet sounding solid-state headphone amp, I landed firmly on this one. This is after sampling the B22 for a short while and really not liking its sterility. So, if you're a B22 lover, this amp isn't for you, but if you're looking for a exceptionally fine, detailed, quick, yet ever so mildly warm and musical (yes, there's that ambiguous word) solid-state headphone amp that is well paired with a heavy-duty power supply that's quite hefty, this is an exceptional example such an amp.

The amp is selling from Blue Circle at $1,195 as of the time of this writing (3/10/2010).

Here are some photos of the amp from my Flickr page.

I'm checking to see if there is any interest in this economy that's slowly getting back on its feet. I'm in no hurry to sell, so if not I'll probably withdraw it until the economy steadies and is firing on a few more cylinders.
