Agreed.
@Confispect, I agree with this part: "Panasonic HJE900 > Phonak Audeo 112 > Hippo VB". These are the only decent IEMs I've tried so far. Maybe I should move up your sig? I was always interested in the DDM... Hmm.
I'm now considering the DT 1350 first, though. I hope it'll not disappoint.

Hmmm you should it really is a list of preference but I agree with the rating part of it as well. Still preference.
I'd take the Eterna over alot of IEMS though even the new Future Sonic. The fit is superb not that the SM3 is not (similar fit) but it's better. The Eterna is actually a surprising IEM with surprising qualities I wrote a small comparison with it and the SM3 to another member let me know if you want to read it I'll pm you.
@Dannish, That's what I forget to put in my sig
Anyhow the JVC is definitely a step up from the Pana the timbre of course but the bass is extremely refined and roles from note to note rather nicely, the V-shape is.....well you'll see.

These apparently fantastic and durable IEMs are now available int he UK for £79.99 from Amazon.co.uk.
I have read through the thread, and apologies if I've missed it (55 pages, always a good sign!), but do any of the owners know if there is a compatible cable available with a mic? Indeed are there high quality semi-custom cables such as the Beat Audio ones that could be acquired with a built in mic and remote?
Many thanks in advances for any advice.

They do not have a mic, and to my knowledge unless Sleek Audio makes one for their headphones with a mic, no cable you can buy for them will have a mic.

Yeah your safest bet is to wait for Sleek to release a model with a mic. They haven't announced it, but I think it''s very likely that they will have mic models.
What the eff Panasonic?
You discontinue this in US, but UK still gets stock?

My cable just started dying after just over year of heavy use... What saddens me is when I put the SA6 cable on them on and tried them out with the RE0 tips... The first thing I thought was "why didn't I do this sooner."
As much as I loved the robustness of the OEM cable... the Seek cable fits so much better.

Just got these this morning and they are amazing for the price, I love the impact the bass and drums have, the soundstage is also pretty deep and quite wide, the mids are slightly recessed but it's not that noticeable and really good quality. Recession doesn't bother me and i listen to allot of brass instruments and vocals. The higs really have good impact and great quality. I'd take these over my Shure Se315 which i recently sold, better highs; better bass and the mids are nearly as just as good.
