Hi,

I was just wondering if I were to send a pair of ultrasone pro 900 to moon audio and purchase a black dragon cable, is the cable attached to both phones? Or only one. Is the black dragon even available for ultrasone pro 900? as the cable product page does not list it in the compatibilities section.

Step 1) email Drew
Step 2) Think a bit... :P you can get a cable with a mini trs jack, OR you can have him mod your headphone for dual entry. All of his cables are available for each headphone.

It is strongly suggested you go dual mod, because that alone has a positive impact on the sound. People suggest BlueDragon for the Pro900. I would have black dragon as the last option.

Yes we can do just about anything you want. Single Entry detachable or Hardwire. Split entry detachable or Hardwire. Any length. Any termination invented Pretty flexible options. I prefer to Hard wire with Split entry over single entry. Just shoot us an email.

At the end of 300 hours of break-in, I listened to my Pro 900's wanting for more.  Don't misunderstand me.  I love the sound signature of the 900's.  I listen to lossless files on an iPad with a SendStation lod into a modded D10.   After a bit of research for my next system update, I decided the best value-added investment would be recabling my phones.  Wading through a number of threads, I decided to give Drew a call.

Drew's assessment skills are thorough.  He talked his way through my equipment and needs and made a recommendation of hard wiring and y-splitting the Blue Dragon cable.  The SendStation will be married to a 12" Blue Dragon cable as well.  The ability to interpret my listening preferences into cable recommendations was punctuated with thoughtful questions and insightful answers.

The upgrade to my 900's is in the process of being completed.  With the assessment process complete, my experience with Drew has been engaging and satisfying.  With the content knowledge Drew has shared thus far, I am confident that the mod will refect a similar degree of "fit and finish" when I receive the phones.  the communication skills Drew uses to make recommendations to potential customers are first rate!  I'll be back in the near future to offer my interpretations of the build/burn-in outcomes.
