EEK!.........

Somebody has switched the ears on my head without telling me.

I'm sat here agog, wondering WTF I got brand new ears from!!
I've starting listening to my iPhone this evening and seriously, the sound I am hearing is amazing, much better than yesterday. I mean a quantum leap in sq.

So either I've gon mad, my ears have loose wires somewhere, or skynet is playing practical jokes.

I'm baffled but delighted. Has this happened to anybody else????

Yeah... I get that once in a while, usually when I get enough sleep and listen during the day instead of the usual late evening time when I'm getting a little sleepy.

Yeah I usually get that when listening at night when it's really quiet and I can concentrate completely on the music.

Well, my Portapros sounded like trash last night out of my Touch... I can't wait to go back to my rig.

It was simply that burn-in had completed.

That's probably how everybody else hears their gear all the time, it's only us fussy audiophile types who don't.

You must have done the blu tak mod to your iPhone. People do it to their iPods.

No, not this far.
Not sure I want a new set of ears either, as I am well pleased with the ones I have...

If you ever happen to wake up at like 5am accidentally and don't feel like immediately going back to sleep, I recommend lying in bed listening to music. The combination of complete silence, complete darkness, and rested ears makes for sonic bliss that I've never experienced otherwise.

My girlfriend would kill me if I did something similar...

Do you have the iPhone 3g? I have had that happen to me every now and then, cos I dont listen to music on it very often, and sometimes I just plugin my Triple.fi's and go "wow, this thing aint bad at all??" Its really quite decent.
