Finally built my 1st headphone cable :)

So I finally built my first headphone cable using a 4-wire Mogami Mini Quad and Neutrik NYS228BG. I think it turned out alright. I haven't test it yet, but plan on using it to re-cable my K240's. Let me know what you think.

The connector was the hardest part. Everything else was cake from there.

The carbon insulator and the small wires made it pretty hard to solder, notice that I wasn't able to crimp the rubber sleeving.

Isolated the 4 wires and re-twisted signal/ground pairs. Applied heatshrink to areas where needed.

Yay for 1000th post!

You should probably pick up some sleeving from eBay

Looks good; no thrills can be a very good thing. BTW, we have a DIY cable thread here: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/diy...gallery-71148/

yeah, i still need to pick up some sleeving, been pretty busy lately. i'm gonna let this cable run in for now, so far it sounds pretty good with my K240's.
