SOLD: Benchmark DAC1 (Canada & US)

I am selling my Benchmark DAC1, this is the original, non-USB version. I bought this second hand few months ago and I found the DAC section is phenomenally detailed. I always run this to my amp because the amp section is only so-so. I am selling this because I got something else that I like more, so I decide to let this go.

The volume nob is scratchy while turning, however it doesn't affect the output of the sound (volume nob doesn't affect rear rca output at all); I received them that way.

$SOLD shipped, ship to Canada/US by Canadapost/USPS, Canadians will have priority, and confirmed Paypal only. What you see in the picture is what you will receive.

Feedback is down in the Signature block.

Not really needed, you can always go with an Apple Airport Express with a mini optical to optical converter and then go into this DAC via optical.

Toslink to 3.5mm Mini Toslink Converter optical adaptor on eBay.ca (item 180476057027 end time 01-Apr-10 10:45:38 EDT)

And no USB jitter.

So? The Airport Express is Wifi from your PC, then digital optical from the Airport Express to the DAC.

A great price on a great unit -- I have this exact model and it is a joy. Deserves a bump.

BTW, there are many fine USB-to-SPDIF converters reviewed here, and on some the price is quite reasonable. Not a bad way to go.

Thanks again. But I'm broke after buying a D7000

HeadphoneAddict is having a very nice DAC for sale too. I'm so tempted but my money left is for food
