Ety ER-4P + S.F5 vs RE0

I want to get the Ety but I've never heard them before, but I've heard that they sound similar to the RE0. I want the Ety for their isolation, but I can also find the UE s.f 5 (shiny one) for a low price, so a comparison of these 3 iems would greatly be appreciated.

I like the RE0 because they are similar to my AD700s, and I currently have the IE8 because they sound fun, but I don't like their lack of isolation.

If you want a sound similar to RE0, but more fun and with better isolation, I highly recommend giving Sleek SA6 a try. They have better imaging that RE0 and warmer, more fun sounding mids and highs. They are especially great at reproducing female vocals, but they have a very even tonal balance overall and work well with pretty much all types of music.

I owned the SF.5 Pros for awhile and never really could get into them. Their sound was just way too muddy for my liking. I now have the ER4Ps and absolutely love them. They are really detailed and have great highs and mids but are a little bit lean on bass. The minibox E+ has a bass boost which makes up for this by a long shot.

Compared to the IE8, does the SF5 isolate more or less, since they both claim 26 dB and we all know that isn't true for the Senns.

Ety's I've tried, and I find their isolation to be amazing.

You might look into the SE420/530 as another well isolating IEM.

Nah, they cost too much for me.

You said you haven't then later on you said you have

You have not stated your source. The ER4P needs a good HP amp like the minibox E+ as recommended by sid311 above. Otherwise, it may sound thinny and the bass anemic.

Ohh, I didn't have music running through them, it was while I was at Hong Kong and I didn't have a player.

I have a sansa clip+, and I've tried the re0 on it and it ran ok.

SF5 will isolate much better than IE8 for sure. IE8 is completely unsuitable for noisy environments unless you get custom tips for them.
