I just started (and still am using) with a cheap weller soldering iron.

I voted for the Weller one. I have used Wellers for many years. I used one at work that was fairly old and was on for 8-10 hours every day and still doing its job as new. I also have one at home and am quite happy with it.

I want to get started on headphone modifications. I have a pair of DT770 headphones that I want to upgrade the drivers and recable as well. What is a good, cheap headphone to start modding to get used to soldering on headphones?
