BF:BC2 is amazing with the beyers (especially the 990's )

 

I spent almost a  grand on a new pc, just for this game.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I have everything set. What about macroFX?

I had a chance to try out my friend's 990's @ a recent LAN and the soundstage blew me away. The only downside is that they're open so you hear everything around you.

 

PS. What the $@%@ happened to the forums? This is the worst botch job crap I've ever seen, lol!

It's unbelievable how realistic the sounds are in this game! Example. When a sniper barely misses you, you'll hear a zing. (One of my friends aimed his high power air rifle to barely miss me around 50 yards, I was setting up the targets...LOL.) Sound is way better then MW2.

Well MW2 sadly isn't much to compare too with its poor quality everything but polish and quantity of locks etc. But I agree that its on my top 5 of games right now that holds reasonable mil sim. realisme while still being fun  - I usually don't clock many hours with ARMA games even thought I was blown away with the original Flashpoint Gold Edition simply that they are to slow at times when thing just are not like you want them. E.i. the absolute reverse of the extreme tempo of MW2 that also both have merits and faults. BTW people check out Sniper:Ghost Warrior if you like playing scout/sniper roles in games. I like it alot but I'm a shapshooting geek of some rank so I can easily overlook its severe lack of polish in both singleplayer (had to work around horrid bugs for several hours thought the totallity of singleplayer)  and multi when I'm top tire 3 on MP servers every round :)
