Hi,
I'm not really familiar with amp, but I have a Fiio E5, and I was wondering if the T4 makes noise next to a portable phone, when it receives signals (phone call, texte message, or when there is no network), as my E5 makes some...

it will regardless. i dont think these lower end amps are shielded, and you would also need to buy shielded cables for your interconnects and your headphones in order to not get the noise from interference. also, try getting a 3g phone and setting it in 3g only mode. if you're on at&t in the US, 3g eliminates all that issue and switching to tmobile will kill off that annoying beeping sound too.

Ok, I have an iPhone 3G, so it should always be in 3G. Thank you untrueparadox

not always, you have to turn on the 3g switch in the settings for 3g. and for areas where 3g is not available itll say "E" or edge on the top task bar, which is 2G and will give you that beeping thing.

Yes, I know, I have noticed it, in here, I only get edge in the subway, and if not, when there is no 3G, it is just GPRS (a small circle)... But thanks
