I really haven't heard anything better for the price I paid for it.

250USD Shipped for this... Really a steal, if you can get over the very minor flaw for its great sound. By all means go for it, I really like this amp myself. My friend is coming over to try his W5000 on it, but no idea when. So look forward to his impression too.

For that price it seems a good base for DIY fans...
A resistor change may be all that is necessary to lower the gain, then add a decent volume control, and finally put the transformer in an external box... job done!

I think it stands UHC MOS-fet output. You should email the builder for exactly what it is, but having searched UHC MOS on Google and the results are pretty clear it meant that.
