Upgrading my headphone amplifier (Starting a Beta22 build) and I am selling my M3. It is in a beautiful black aluminum enclosure which allows high bias on the mosfets to ensure they stay at the optimal temperature where they are nice and linear.
The amp is configured for a gain of 11 (so they would be better for higher impedance headphones). The amp features, along with the usual M3 goodies:
- 2x OPA637BP for the L/R channel, this is the highest grade of this opamp
- 1x OPA627AP for the ground channel (OPA637 is unstable at low gain and thus cannot be used for ground)
- Vishay/Dale and Philips 1% resistors
- Nichicon Muse KZ and Elna Silmic II (RFS) power caps
- ERO Film caps
- Mil-spec heavy silver-plated signal and power wires
- Cosmos POT (better sounding than Alps "Blue Velvet" POT)
- 24k gold-plated (THICK!) CMC RCAs with Teflon dielectric
- Neutrik locking 1/4 inch jack (silver plated contacts)
- External high-current (3.2A) 24V power supply (CSA approved!)
- Beefy power on connector, with 12g x 4 copper external power cable
