I was considering saying that, too. Even though that's live, that might actually be better for the OP than AB or WD because it's more "rock" than those studio albums.

But in that case, you might as well just go online and get shows for free. A lot of them have really good soundboard sound by now, so no worries there. Just look for the soundboard shows, like at bt.etree.org.

I couldn't get into them until after listening to the live stuff, and now I still prefer the live stuff. Europe '72 is good. I also quite like Live/Dead for the longer jammy-type sound. And then, of course, they're probably the most well-known band in the world for allowing people to distribute live recordings of their shows, and you'll be able to find them at various places (google for them)
