Thanks for looking at my ad! Here's a blast from the past - the former reference DVD player from Pioneer Elite. My family bought this when it first came out and paid thousands for it. I'm not going to try and list all the features because I anticipate most head-fi'ers using this beast as a cd transport...which it does exceedingly well. I've fed several of my own DACs from the DV-09's coax digital out and the results were excellent.
The sound of this player on its own is also very natural. I certainly feel it's outclassed by my Cambridge 840C but I could happily listen to the DV-09.
I can't comment on the video performance except to say that it's functional. I'm not much of a videophile.
This unit is in perfect working order with original box (minus original styrofoam), manual, and remote. The front face is in excellent 9/10 condition but the tops of the side-rails have some small surface scratches. Nothing through the finish, just some light swirling.
I'm asking $215 for this player, paypal'd but NOT including shipping. This monster weighs over 30 pounds on its own so shipping cost won't be inconsequential. I'm only shipping CONUS because international shipping on this thing is going to be absolutely silly.
