Ortofon e-Q7 Appreciation Thread

Someone had to create it eventually - e-Q7 definitely deserves its own appreciation thread. To my ears, it is the most balanced and natural sounding IEM I've heard to date, arguably more so than the $850 Westone ES3X custom I owned previously. e-Q7 especially excels at reproduction of vocals, real instruments and bass. It also has great clarity, dynamics, deep and wide soundstage and a detailed yet relaxed and non-fatiguing treble. The sound is very lively and engaging. It is a real winner in my book and is totally worth its price of ~$300 IMO. I plan on writing a review on the e-Q7 in the near future too with comparison to my RE0 and other IEMs I've owned so far from memory, so stay tuned.

Below are the links to impressions/reviews of these great IEMs:

Yes, (based on what I have read) they definitely deserve their very own appreciation thread, though I don't have one to say this. But, I am really convinced that I need a pair of these (and a pair of the Monster's).

I'm convinced I need these too. They do sound like something I would enjoy except the price.

I thought it has a long thread discussing this IEM already. It does not look good to me to split up the thread and share popularity

Anyway, thanks pianist

Agreed. However this little baby is crying for her own appreciation thread!

@ Pianist, perhaps it is better to post James' impressions thread on e-Q7in the first post?
