You want PS3 optical out to the D10 and listen that way- you're wasting the DAC section of the D10 just using the amp.

satir the D10 is both a DAC and an Amp so no need to buy an amp. Just feed the D10 using the optical as you wrote above and use the 1/8" amp out to feed the headphone. Good luck.

Don't forget to use the menu options, set the PS3 to optical output.
