Erix Big DIY Yardsale

Howdy Folks,

Been a long time gone and am working through a basement full of parts and components that I'm no longer in need of. I've been out of the headphone hobby for several years now and it doesn't look like I'll have any time in the future to listen to cool amps so I might as well sell stuff off to people who will use and enjoy them. I'll be adding stuff to this thread over the next couple of weeks so if you don't see something you want, check again later.

Today's installment - Bad ***** Silicon

Pair of Elantec EL2008CT - $45/pair ** NEW PRICE **
These are legendary buffers capable of 1A continuous and are extremely rare. This pair have lived in a static free box for their whole life - NOS - and when they're gone, they're real gone. Many fantastic amps have been built with these - do a search here on 'em. Pair them up with an AD823 and some Grados and you can crush your skull.

Quartet of Elantec EL2002CN - $40/set ** NEW PRICE **
This set would make a fine output section in a desktop or portable amp. You can stack 'em on top of each other to double their output current - kind of like LEGOs with solder. These are NOS, last of their kind...

Quintet of Elantec EL2001CN - $40/set ** NEW PRICE **
The mainstay of many quasi-commercial offerings in days gone by, the only reason you don't see them today is that they stopped making them seven years ago. A fantastic high current buffer with very small current draw. If I were you I'd use a pair stacked for each output channel and the fifth on (along with a TLE2426) for a buffered ground.

Quartet of Linear Systems LS844 - $20/set ** NEW PRICE **
These are matched, ultra low noise dual JFETs in a single DIP8 package. What are they good for you ask? Totally awesome constant current sources say I. Why mess around measuring handfulls of discrete JFETs when you can pop in one of these and be done!

Duet of Linear Systems LS842 - $10/set ** NEW PRICE **
Like the 844, these are low noise dual JFETs in a single DIP8 package. I used the other pair in my EL2008 amp with stunning success.

All prices include shipping to the CONUS via USPS priority. Paypal is OK as well. Best way to reach me is PM here.

I have tons more stuff to offload including transformers, paper-in-oil caps, Cerafine and Black Gate caps, tube sockets, tubes, you name it - I probably have two of them.

ok,

Second Round!

Monstro ASC Oil Capacitor Pair - $20 ** NEW PRICE **
These giant beauties are perfect for tube power supplies and can even be used as output caps on OTL amps. These are the same ones Angela sells - you just don't have to deal with Steve. (Just kidding Steve, Love Ya!)

AEON "True Cap" 5.1uF/250V Pair - $4 ** NEW PRICE **
These are fine budget metallized film caps for speaker crossovers and coupling.
MELOS OEM 6uF/250V Pair - $4 ** NEW PRICE **
If you ever saw the guts of the MELOS headphone amp you would have seen a pair of these at the input. These are pulls off the some original circuitboards I had a long time ago. The leads are short but there's enough to solder to. I'd polish them up and use them for shock value.

Sprague Vitamin Q set, 19 pcs - $40/set ** NEW PRICE **
Straight from NASA, these are some of the finest paper-in-oil caps known to man. These are fantastic for coupling caps in tube amps and bass boost circuits in solid state affairs. All are NOS unless noted otherwise. Would like to sell only as a set - check around, this is a steal... Values include:
(1) .15uF/400V
(2) .27uF/100V
(2) .1uF/400V
(1) .068uF/1000V
(2) .022uF/600V
(1) .1uF/200V
(1) .047uF/100V
(1) .056uF/300V
(1) .033uF/600V
(1) .39uF/200V
(1) .022uF/300V - short leads
(1) .033uF/400V - short leads
(1) Mystery Cap!

Cerafine 2200uF/16V, 8 pcs - $5 ea ** NEW PRICE **
Cerafine 220uF/35V, 2 pcs - $2 ea ** NEW PRICE **
Lovely to look at delightful to hold, these caps are begging you to use them to filter the power rails of your next solid state masterpiece. I feel there is no better cap available for power supply filtering than Cerafine.

Portable Amp Kit - $20/set ** SAME PRICE!! HAH!! **
Hey Kids! Here's a black all aluminum Hammond case (forgot the model number but a 9V battery fits inside), a Panasonic EVJ 50K Stereo pot, and a black aluminum knob. Just add a circuit and go!

Big Aluminum Heatsinks - $9/ea ** NEW PRICE **
These nice chunks of extruded aluminum heatsink extrusion are the PERFECT size for a Gainclone or other similar project. Each one is 7.1875": x 2.625"W x 1.375"H with (10) 1" high fins. I like to use 2.5 square inches of heatsink surface area per watt. These sinks are good for 50W each.

Little Black Heatsinks - FREE with purchase of Elantec EL2008CT!
Here's what they look like installed!

Transformer Pair, 35VA - $32/ea ** NEW PRICE **
This big honkin' pair of encapsulated toroids will give you over 17W of +/- 15VDC when bridge rectified and adequately filtered. You could build a nice lower wattage Gainclone or a Skull Crushing EL2008 monster with these. Imagine, completely isolated power supplies for each channel... mmmmmm

NOS Triad Power Transformer for Tube Amps - $SOLD
This heavy little monster will give you some serious voltage. Not for noobs, proceed with caution!
480V CT @ 50mA, 6.3V CT @ 2A, & 5V @ 2A.

Ceramic Tube Sockets, 9-pin Silver Plated - Set of 3, $SOLD
Durable and great looking, these are the same ones Angela sells - you just don't have to deal with Steve. (HA HA HA! That's twice, Love Ya, Steve!)

All prices include shipping to the CONUS via USPS priority. Paypal is OK as well. Best way to reach me is PM here.
