Auction over. Thanks.

I believe that the For Sale rules in this forum require that you give a price in any for sale listing. I know other HeadFi fokls have gotten some heat for not having done so.

That's not true, unfortunately.

Hm. I didn't know that. Sorry.

I have absolutely no idea what to ask, though. Which is why I've done it this way.

I suppose a moderator should delete the thread. Maybe I'll start another asking what I should ask for them.

Sorry again.

EDIT: Well let's say, for the time being: $300. I would definitely accept that. If anyone thinks that's unreasonable, feel free to post to that effect--unless you want to buy them, in which case you have a conflict of interest!

(I certainly didn't mean to perturb anyone, by the way.)

You've posted an excellent thread, you do seem dedicated to your sale.
$300 is a fair price, you may have to drop it in a little while if you don't get any offers though, as there are several other people selling their W3s at the moment.
Best of luck with your sale.

Joins and only post is this for sale. I would stay away from this. Heed the warning given about scammers.

Thank you for your kind remarks.

Perhaps if I had joined in order to praise a $400 power cord, or advocate for the burn-in of an MP3 player, I'd be more trusted?

Don't mind him he has been trolling every FS thread where the seller is new.

I noticed.

Anyway, my pair are probably going onto eBay by the end of today. I'll post the link in this thread. It will be a 1 week auction and the bidding will probably start at $200. I had simply hoped to unload these as quickly as possible so that I could buy something else. (Actually, I've just ordered both a Phonak PFE and a Hippo VB, but trying the IE8 seems inevitable. I can't find anyone with both a good price and a good return policy for it, though, so I need something for these before I can manage that.)

I don't in the least fail to see why anyone may be hesitant about this thread. That's why I went for maximum disclosure in the first post, which I doubt my friend above read thoroughly.

Hi would you be willing to trade with a brand new unopened triple fi 10?

No, I had reliability issues with the TF10 and with UE. (It has been my favorite IEM so far otherwise, though.)

I'll be posting this W3 on eBay later this evening (my account link is in the first post), for anyone who's interested. Again, it's virtually new. I listened to it a bit last Monday, when I received it, and then again Saturday, when I received my new player. It's been back in the box since yesterday.

Or PM me now if you'd like to make an offer. Payment would be via PayPal, and I'm happy to verify my identity in other ways to anyone requiring that reassurance.

Thanks.

I think you should give it a bit more time here on Head-Fi, I'm sure you'll find a buyer sooner than your auction would end.

I've received a not-horrifying offer, but not close to what the last person to sell a W3 here got, and I doubt his was as new as mine. I feel like this thread has been sabotaged a bit. Honestly, I'd probably stay away from it myself.

I'm just being lazy about putting the IEM on eBay. I dislike selling there. I have to open a browser other than Safari, and other hard stuff. The procrastination may continue for hours yet.
