Are you serious? Inglourious Basterds was amazing.

Now Avatar, that movie BLEW chunks. Yeah the visuals were cool, but that's about it. I mean, come on, the storyline is direct copy of Pocahontas.

Offtopic. Tarantino's Death Proof was way too much lazy and boring. Did not liked it at all.
Death Proof is not even worth talking about. That was a waste of time.

I generally really enjoy Tarantino's use of dialogue but in IB I found it forced and drawn out. The first scene was spectacular and then it went downhill from there in my opinion.

An excellent observation. There were just too many "ah, the evil guy will ramble on, acting nice, as he slowly draws the fly into his web" scenes. It started to feel a little false and repetitious.

What he says.

Started with such promise, (although again, that was probably down to Waltz's performance) even though the last half of the first scene had the oh so predictable pseudo smart n fast dialogue that has just become staid now, and the rest of the film was only watchable for the waltz moments, without him it would have been a big fat complete fail.

It could have been so much more too consdiering the cast and the plot hook.

I have taken some liberty and corrected the title.

I have yet to see Avatar, so I won't comment on it. And the only reason I saw IB is because a friend wanted to see it.

I think Brad Pitt has the acting range of a Daisy air rifle. So long as he doesn't get any award. I do agree with Waltz's performance though.
