FS: C&C TU, newest hybrid portable amp

This is my go-to amp for non-vocal music. Non-fatiguing and has very strong musicality. I've been listening to a lot less non-vocal music recently, so decided to sell this. Another reason for selling is I've fallen in love again with my iQube solid-state.

The C&C TU also has a feature to turn off the tubes. This makes the sound even more non-fatiguing, very smooth and velvety. I first auditioned this without the tubes turned on and was stunned by the smoothness of it. But without the tubes, interestingly, a bit of dynamism is lost.. It's good on the go, though- no pinging.

I've installed the "blu-tac" mod, so it's very good on the go too.

Overall, I see this as the perfect 'single-amp' for someone who is interested in different signatures. This can do very smooth, and can do very dynamic. It can give you solid-state, or hybrid solid-state and tubes. Extremely versatile, and good price.

More impressions here. Bear in mind a lot of the impressions at the start were before burn-in, and for the wrong type of music. Once I started understanding it better, it worked wonderfully.

Also has soundstage widening, bass boost and gain options, along with the above-mentioned tube on-off option.

Currently selling at US$329 shipped new. I've had this for a very short period of time, just about enough to complete burn-in of 50 hours or so (about half of it, not listening to it- it's low mileage is why I'm selling, after all).

Looking for $270. This comes with charger + amp. I've thrown the original box away.

Pretty new to buying/selling on head-fi, so only one piece of feedback here:
