I don't think it's a big deal posting a lot, I think what annoys people is making 500 threads on the same subject. Why not just keep it all to one thread???

Yep... the more reading, the more you'll discover threads already created about what you're interested in. Instead of starting a new thread, just add to the thread. Don't worry, those who can help and are interested will see your post since they're likely subscribed to the thread, no matter the age.

Reasons people might be annoyed (with this post):
1. Thread title is very uninformative
2. Topic (burn-in) has been covered more times than any of us can count, including a stickied FAQ where you could have easily found your answer.

But I'm glad you like your phones and the forum.

Every topic except for brand new headphone models has been covered ad nauseum on headfi. Nobody really needs to post anything about, say, the HD600. All the information is there for the searching. But making new threads is just another way to fill the time between birth and death.

Haha....You could read the threads to do that. In fact, that takes more time so makes for a better filler.

One thing that starting a new thread does is to get fresh opinions. My own opinion about things tend to change over time as my experience broadens and deepens. So there's some scope for starting new threads.

However, to start the same thread 10 times in a week is taking it a bit far.
